Incorporating 'Pathology and Immunopathology Research'’, founded 1982 as ‘Survey and Synthesis of Pathology Research’ by J. Cruse and R.E. Lewis

Continued as Pathobiology by J.M. Cruse and R.E. Lewis (1990–1998), continued by Ch. Wittekind (1999–2004)

Vol. 1-22 (1938-1959) were published under the journal's former title Schweizerische Zeitschrift für allgemeine Pathologie und Bakteriologie, Vol. 23-43 (1960-1975) under the title Pathologia et Microbiologia and Vol. 44-57 (1976-1989) under Experimental Cell Biology. Also available: Pathology and Immunopathology Research Vol. 1-8 (1983-1989), founded and published 1983-1985 as Survey and Synthesis of Pathology Research, and integrated 1990 in Pathobiology.
