About

China Medical University (CMU) was established as China Medical College in 1958 and evolved into China Medical University in 2003. It is the first academic institution in Taiwan where Chinese medicine and pharmacy programs are provided. CMU includes 8 colleges where western medicine, Chinese medicine, pharmacy (including Chinese herbs), health care (including nursing), life sciences, management, and public health education, research and practice programs are provided. The university has steadily grown to its present position as one of the foremost medical universities in Taiwan.

Aims and Scope

The China Medical University Portal on Biomedicine Hub is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal section which includes original research articles, review articles, and clinical studies relating to all areas of complementary and traditional herbal medicine. It provides a multidisciplinary forum for translational and clinical research with a specific focus on the molecular mechanism and multidisciplinary approaches to medical treatment./p>

Biography

Dr. Fuu-Jen Tsai graduated as a Doctor of Chinese Medicine in 1985 and obtained his PhD in 1997 at the School of Chinese Medicine, China Medical University.

Dr. Fuu-Jen Tsai has worked as fellow physician in the Division of Medical Genetics and Laboratory of Molecular Biology (National Taiwan University), as Dean of the College of Chinese Medicine (China Medical University), before landing his current role at China Medical University and Hospital.

Dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric genetic and metabolic diseases, Dr. Fuu-Jen Tsai leads and integrates clinical, research, education, and public outreach activities and assists policy promotion activities related to rare diseases. He also focuses on T2D, FSS, precision medicine, and AI in healthcare. He has published 2 books and more than 950 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
