Check out our selection for the 40th anniversary of the journal.
Preface
“Having been the Editor-in-Chief of this journal for almost 20 years I would like to thank all our new and established subscribers for their help in supporting our journal. We have tried to bring you well-written, relevant papers both from a basic and clinical perspective to enhance your knowledge obtained from other society journals. What is presented here are the top articles referenced over the years and we hope this will give potentially new subscribers an insight into what we publish. We obviously encourage researchers to send us their best work and try our best to provide a quick decision and a fast turnaround in less than 3 weeks and sometimes even within 2 weeks. We look forward to your continued support and comments to the Karger team to make this journal even better.
Best wishes on behalf of myself and my Senior Associate Editors: Rajiv Agarwal, MD, Richard Glassock, MD, Biff Palmer, MD, Stuart Sprague, MD, Matthew Weir, MD”
George Bakris, Editor-in-Chief
