Hematological Aspects of COVID-19

In this special article collection of Acta Haematologica, edited by Dafna Yahav and Marco Falcone, you will meet experts addressing aspects of COVID-19 relevant for hematologists. Find topics comprising various aspects of COVID-19 coagulopathy, unique clinical characteristics and outcomes of COVID-19 in patients with hematological malignancy as well as immunogenicity in response to SARS-CoV-2 vaccines in this special patient group. Additionally, two less known aspects of COVID-19 in hematological patients are discussed: issues related to imaging of hematological patients in the era of COVID-19 and long COVID in this population.
