Series Editors: Lowie E.G.W. Vanfleteren and Dirk-Jan Slebos
As in many other areas, medical imaging is often the diagnostic cornerstone in respiratory medicine. Progressive developments have led to better diagnostic and treatment approaches and a better understanding of the pathogenesis in a wide variety of lung diseases, such as obstructive lung diseases, infectious diseases, interstitial lung disease, and thoracic oncology. This Thematic Review Series focuses on respiratory imaging and includes articles on radiomics, optical coherence tomography and confocal laser endomicroscopy, navigational bronchoscopy, and quantitative image analysis (including machine and deep learning).
