Neurology and Neuroscience is Karger’s largest portfolio.

Neurology
European Neurology covers research and practice in neurology. Cerebrovascular Diseases is dedicated to advance stroke and cerebrovascular medicine. The sister journal Cerebrovascular Diseases Extra has a focus on informing the practice of stroke medicine and patient care around the world. Neuroepidemiology is devoted to descriptive, analytical, and experimental studies in the epidemiology of neurologic diseases. Dementia and Geriatric Cognitive Disorders features cognitive dysfunction through innovative preclinical and clinical investigations while Dementia and Geriatric Cognitive Disorders Extra emphasizes research output from animal studies complemented by clinical and therapeutic experience. Neurodegenerative Diseases focus on translational research of neurodegeneration. Case Reports in Neurology complements the portfolio publishing both single and series of cases on neurology clinical practice.

Neurosciences
Our publications Brain, Behavior and Evolution and Developmental Neuroscience discuss the nervous system evolution and development, including comparative neurobiological studies on the nervous system’s normal or abnormal structure, function, development, and evolution in vertebrates and invertebrates.

Neurosurgery
Our journals Pediatric Neurosurgery and Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery cover neurosurgical topics. The portfolio is complemented by our long-standing and universally recognized book series Progress in Neurological Surgery.

The book series Frontiers of Neurology and Neuroscience rounds off our portfolio updating information in basic and clinical advances on the nervous system and its disorders.
